The smart badge and how activity is measured
The badge you place on your website links to your public RentalsGraph profile. Your workspace shows whether the badge is live on your website and what the badge and your profile recorded over the last 30 days.
- Badge status
- Live when we find the badge on your own website during our daily check; Removed when it was live and is no longer found after repeated checks. A sighting on another website is shown as Detected until it is confirmed on your site.
- Badge views
- A request for your badge image sent from an external website. Requests from RentalsGraph itself and requests without a referring website are not counted.
- Badge clicks
- Visits to your public profile that arrive from the badge link or from another website.
- Public page views
- Visits to your public profile through other routes.
- Search engine visits
- Requests to your badge or profile from recognised search-engine crawlers, identified by the name they announce (for example Googlebot or Bingbot).
- AI agent visits
- Requests from recognised AI crawlers and agents, identified the same way (for example GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot), grouped by organisation in your workspace.
Every request is one event: the same visitor or crawler loading the badge twice counts twice, so the figures are activity, not unique people. A badge load is not a guaranteed human view. Only crawlers that identify themselves are recognised, so not every crawler or visit is detected. Crawler activity reflects detected accesses to your badge or profile; it does not measure search impressions, rankings or AI recommendations. No visitor data is stored - only the day, the type of activity and, for crawlers, their public name.
